| New settlement statement requirements/changes went into effect on January 1, 2010. Any quotes given or contracts entered into on or before December 31, 2009 can use the old HUD-1. The old HUD-1 can still be used for cash transactions and commercial deals unless requested by the customer or lender to use the new one. Otherwise, beginning January 1, 2010, the 2010 HUD-1 must be used. Our staff stands ready to meet with you and go over these new requirements/changes and educate you on what you will be seeing.
